Progressive Metal, performed with precision and an ear for melody. The drum sound on this whole album is superb. After a complex instrumental intro, the song slows down and opens to a sincere and heartfelt delivery, where Ray Alder sings with just the right amount of emotion. The lyrics are on a personal level and grasp the melancholy well. There are so many elements in this song and they all work so well, that 8 minutes pass by in the blink of an eye. The sign of a classic song.
