That was Season 1... Then came Season 2, which didn't quite meet the same level and The Defenders, which I found quite annoying.
Season 3 thankfully reclaims the magic of the first season and delivers a thoroughly entertaining batch of episodes. Though at first, I was afraid of yet another morality focused swamp of missed opportunities, by the third episode and that prison infiltration and subsequent break out, I knew the series was back. Fortunately the rest of the season delivers a both action packed and emotional punch.
My faith in the show was restored, but then it was suddenly cancelled by Netflix without any explanation, except for the obvious elephant in the room (That would be Dumbo, I mean Disney). So sad.
