Song Review

This song from Midwinter Graces is one of her originals, among many covers and I couldn't have wished for more in a Tori Amos Christmas song. The atmosphere is "Christmassy" and holds that special melancholy, which only she can conjure. I love the way the vocals feel extremely controlled by withheld emotion and with each verse, it is as if she opens up more and more. A melancholic reminiscence of times long gone by. I love it.
